Job description
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Oncologist to join a well-established Cancer Center in Southern West Virginia for a one-year contract starting April 21, 2025.
Position Details:
- Specialty: Oncology
- Start Date: April 21, 2025
- Contract Length: 1 year
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with inpatient call every 3rd week
- Call Details: Weekends include inpatient call 1 in 3 rotation
Work Details:
- Support Staff: Nurses, CMAs, and APPs
- Coverage Needed: Full-time coverage required
- Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
- Department Setting: Cancer Center
- EMR System: Cerner
Procedures & Skills Required:
- Bone marrow biopsy
- Management of oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Oncology (required)
- Oncology Fellowship (required)
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (required)
- State License (required)
- DEA License (required)
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years
Credentialing Timeframe:
- Approximately 45-60 days
