Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead and oversee transfusion medicine and cellular therapy programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, driving research initiatives, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to maintain the highest clinical and operational quality.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead and oversee transfusion medicine and cellular therapy programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, driving research initiatives, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to maintain the highest clinical and operational quality.
Job Responsibilities
Provide medical oversight for transfusion medicine operations, donor evaluations, and therapeutic apheresis.
Manage cellular therapy programs, including product collection, processing, and release.
Ensure compliance with FDA, FACT, AABB, and other standards.
Develop and review clinical protocols, SOPs, and validation studies.
Support clinical research initiatives and therapeutic advancements.
Deliver educational programs and represent the organization in professional forums
Qualifications
MD or DO with training in transfusion medicine and cellular therapy.
Board certification in Hematology, Oncology, Pathology, or Transfusion Medicine (preferred).
At least 2 years of experience in transfusion medicine or cellular therapy.
Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Willingness to relocate to Oklahoma City, OK, and work on-site regularly.
