We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Oncology in Ohio.
Locum Tenens Physician - Oncology
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Oncology
Location: Ohio
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: On Call (24-hour shift, includes 8 hours onsite)
Start Date: 3/1/2025
End Date: 3/28/2025
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Mostly outpatient (99%), includes inpatient (rounding onsite)
- Setting: Outpatient with minimal call-back requirements
- Responsibilities: Chemotherapy and infusion therapy
- Required Procedures: Chemotherapy, infusion therapy
- EMR System: EPIC
- Support Staff: 6 RNs (RNs administer chemotherapy)
- Days Per Month: As scheduled within the coverage period
- On-Call/Weekends: On-call daily, includes weekend coverage
Compensation & Reimbursement:
- Malpractice included in rates
- Travel reimbursement: Local candidates preferred, but flights, lodging, car rental, or mileage will be considered for non-local candidates
Requirements:
- Board Certified - Required
- Ohio license at the time of submission - Required
- ACLS and BLS certifications - Required
- Local providers preferred
