Specialty: Medical Oncologist
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: At least through December 2023
Shift Details:
• 8:00am – 4:00pm
Schedule:
• 1 clinic day per week. Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday or only options (other coverage exists on Monday and Wednesday)
• No weeknight or weekend call coverage needed.
Work Details:
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 1 day per week
• Support Staff: There are 2 MAs at the clinic
• Average Patient Volume: in clinic is about 20/day and 0-1 inpatient consults
• Department Description: Responsibilities include mostly outpatient clinic and infusion coverage, with sporadic inpatient consult here and there. Oversight of infusion while providing medical oncology services. Clinic is in the medical building near the hospital and is less than 2 years old.
• EMR: Epic, called “CareConnect” internally
• Hospital Bed size: 144 beds

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Board Certification in Oncology is required
• License Required: Active OH License, ok to submit candidates without license
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Minimum Experience Required: 1 year
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days for full credentialing process (which is what is desired)
