**GI Oncologist Opening in Charlotte, North Carolina** **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent - Employed - Gastrointestinal Specialist - The Cancer Institute is recruiting a full-time medical oncologist to lead GI Malignancy program. - The prospective candidate should be comfortable working with colorectal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, radiation/oncology and other GI specific subspecialists. A strong interest in clinical research as well as experience in early phase (Phase I) clinical research preferred, but not mandatory for this position. The applicant would join the existing specialists who are committed to providing the remarkable experience to our patients. - This is an exciting leadership opportunity in a growing program that is rising to meet the needs of the evolving health care environment at a fully Accredited Integrated Network Cancer Program that includes the full spectrum of comprehensive support programs. - The health system has seen tremendous growth over the past 5 years especially in the Cancer Institute and our footprint has spread across the state guaranteeing continued growth.
