Full Time | Medical Director
Seeking BC Occupational Medicine Physician to lead and grow an established Occupational Medicine program at a regional referral center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Highlights:
- Outpatient-only practice
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No call responsibilities
- Medical Director leadership role with clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Opportunity to drive strategic growth and development of Occupational Medicine services
- EPIC EMR
- Supported by an Advanced Practice Provider, Medical Assistant, and dedicated administrative staff
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for Occupational Medicine program growth
- Create evidence-based protocols and clinical guidelines
- Serve as physician leader, mentor, educator, and program spokesperson
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, community partners, and referring providers
- Participate in provider recruitment and onboarding efforts
- Promote quality, safety, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Pre-employment physicals and screenings
- DOT and occupational evaluations
- Work-related injury care and management
- Return-to-work evaluations
- Employer health and wellness services
- Occupational health program development
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine preferred
- Occupational Medicine leadership experience preferred
- 5+ years of Occupational Medicine experience preferred
- Strong background in quality improvement, program development, and physician leadership
- Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
