Clinical Responsibilities

Evaluation and management of work-related injuries and workers’ compensation cases

Functional assessments and return-to-work planning

Pre-placement and DOT physical examinations

Treatment of acute occupational illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries

Medical review of surveillance programs and immunization compliance

Collaboration with employers, HR departments, and case managers

Clear documentation supporting safe and timely return to work

Qualifications

MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible

Active Maine medical license (or eligibility)

Occupational Medicine experience preferred

Physicians trained in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine encouraged to apply

Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing musculoskeletal injuries

Collaborative, communicative, and solutions-oriented approach
