Title: Occupational Medicine Physician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: Mon – Fri (8AM – 5 PM)
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat occupational and work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct pre-employment, DOT, and fit-for-duty physicals.
• Provide health education, injury prevention strategies, and wellness initiatives for employees.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions related to occupational exposures.
• Collaborate with employers, HR professionals, and safety teams to promote workplace health and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records within the EHR system.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and other federal/state occupational health regulations.
Requirements:
• MD or DO degree with an active and unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Board Certified/Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required (occupational medicine experience preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and occupational health standards.
• Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills.
