AMN Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Occupational Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a busy urgent care clinic. This role is ideal for a provider with a strong background in occupational health and urgent care, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat work-related injuries
Perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical exams
Evaluate and treat walk-in urgent care patients
Conduct in-office procedures, including suturing
Communicate with employers and provide medical guidance
Complete documentation timely and accurately
Patient Volume: 20–25 patients per day
Call Responsibilities: None
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 2 weeks
Qualifications
Active South Carolina/Wisconsin/Minnesota medical license
DEA certification
DOT certification
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
Must be able to suture
Specialty board certification or eligibility in Primary Care or related field (up to 6–7 years post-training allowed for BE candidates)
Full-time availability required
Working Hours
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Coverage Dates: October 20, 2025 – January 6, 2026
