We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our team. The role involves conducting pre-employment evaluations, periodic medical surveillance, and mental health support for first responders. Responsibilities include assessing physical and psychological health, monitoring occupational exposures, providing health education, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with law enforcement, firefighting, and federal agent roles, and possess a deep understanding of their unique physical and psychological demands. Strong collaboration and communication skills are required.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted medical licensure in the state of North Carolina.
Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, or Occupational Medicine).
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a primary care or occupational health setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and staff.
Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting a culture of safety and quality.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
Ability to adapt to changing healthcare trends and regulations.
