MEDICINE FOR BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY (MBI) operates outpatient acute injury care clinics in an Occupational Medicine setting. Services include Occupational injury care, NO chronic pain management! Our Fully integrated EMR system provides the Physician opportunity to focus on delivering a high quality of patient care with minimal administrative duties required. MBI currently has 30 locations in California, Colorado, Arizona and Nevada with additional states and opportunities coming in the near future. Significant career growth opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Successful candidates come from various medical backgrounds including UC, FP, IM, ER, Sports Medicine, or Ortho.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership that focuses on mentoring, training and developing providers, staff and associates within our clinical environment.
  • Perform medical assessment of Center patients.
  • Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients.
  • Maintain clinical core competency.
  • Work with Chief Medical Officer to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards of Medicine for Business and Industry
  • Cooperate and participate in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice, judgment and quality of occupational health care.
  • Participate in and assist with in-service and continuing education programs for physicians, nurses and other personnel employed by or associated with Medicine for Business and Industry
  • Collaboration with center leadership team to positively impact quality of care, client and patient satisfaction, clinical/ case outcomes, and center performance.

Requirements:
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates with experience in UC, FP, IM, ER, Sports Medicine, or Ortho
  • Current state licensure
  • Current DEA licensure
  • FMCSA certification
  • M.D. or D.O. trained
  • Experience/ability to suture
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidiscipline setting
  • Spanish/English bilingual a plus
