Job Description

A Brawley, California based client is seeking an Occupational Medcine Physician to provide excellent occupational medicine care services to adults. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment and who practices evidence-based medicine.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current California medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or eligible
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries related to occupational medicine in patients of all ages
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
  • Serve as a supervisor for mid-level providers
