OBGYN Inpatient | North Carolina Metro | 350K+ | Premier Hospital System

A leading healthcare organization in North Carolina is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join a high-volume, hospital-based inpatient obstetrics practice at its main hospital in gorgeous southeastern North Carolina — a role opening up because of retirements and tremendous, sustained growth, not because anything is broken. This is true shift-based obstetrics: 12 or 24-hour shifts built around just 7 shifts per month, giving you real, predictable time off between blocks of work. You'll never be on an island — 2 physicians work together at all times, backed by 2 strong APPs per shift, experienced labor and delivery nurses, and in-house neonatal and anesthesia coverage, all supporting a team that delivers approximately 4,500 babies a year. Base salary lands around $350K (negotiable) for 7 24-hour shifts a month and is very negotiable. All of this sits inside a 950-bed, non-profit Level 3 trauma regional medical center with nearly 70 years of community trust — a place where high-acuity obstetrics and genuine work-life balance aren't in conflict.
