Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity providing 24-hour in-house call coverage in a hospital-based setting.
This assignment offers consistent delivery volume, strong clinical support, and a structured call schedule, making it ideal for providers seeking predictable OB coverage with full-scope responsibilities.
Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~10%+ of OB/GYN locum call roles (2026 market data)
Assignment Highlights
- 24-hour in-house call shifts (7:30 AM – 7:30 AM)
- Maximum of 48 consecutive in-house hours
- Approximately 10 shifts per month
- Primary physician while on site
- Support from 2 midwives + MFM available
- ~700 deliveries annually
- High-risk deliveries supported
- Sleeping room available onsite
- EMR: Epic
- Travel reimbursed per policy
- Malpractice insurance covered
- HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency
- HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO
Skills & Experience
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Comfortable with full-scope OB/GYN care
- Epic experience preferred
