One of our Partners, in South Carolina is seeking Board-Certified OB/GYN physicians to provide 24-hour locum tenens call coverage for multiple upcoming blocks between March and June 2026. This opportunity is well suited for experienced OB/GYNs comfortable practicing independently in a rural hospital setting with manageable volumes.
This assignment offers Top 15% OB/GYN locum provider pay in South Carolina (2026 market data) based strictly on provider compensation, with a transparent call + callback compensation model aligned to current regional benchmarks for rural OB/GYN call coverage.

Skills & Experience

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Active South Carolina medical license

South Carolina Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)

Comfortable with:

Vaginal deliveries

ED OB/GYN consults

Independent decision-making in a rural facility

Job Responsibilities
-
Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
-
Perform daily inpatient rounding (average 1–3 patients/day)

Manage labor and delivery coverage (average 1–3 deliveries/day)

Oversee NSTs and observation patients (average 2–4/day)

Respond to ED OB/GYN consults as needed
-
Support APP in clinic when escalated or in emergent situations

Document care accurately in Epic EMR
-
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
