We are seeking a qualified physician for locum tenens coverage with a focus on office and call coverage. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule, allowing you to engage with a diverse adult patient population. Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric care, focusing on both low and high-risk pregnancies.
  • Perform fetal heart rate interpretation and various obstetric ultrasounds.
  • Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and handling of multiple births.
  • Conduct office and minor gynecology procedures, including IUD insertions, cystoscopy, and colposcopy.
  • Engage in surgical gynecology procedures, both open and laparoscopic.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification Eligible in Obstetrics
  • Holds ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Ability to manage Level IV trauma cases

Working Hours

  • Varied shifts with primary coverage required Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Skills

  • Expertise in decision-making for high-risk and routine pregnancies
  • Ability to perform and interpret obstetric ultrasounds and amniocentesis
  • Skilled in surgical and minor gynecological procedures, both diagnostic and operative
  • Ability to manage and repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
