Job Responsibilities

  • Manage patient encounters, averaging 20 patients per shift.
  • Perform a range of obstetric procedures, including routine and complex deliveries.
  • Conduct office and minor gynecology procedures, like IUD placements and colposcopies.
  • Provide quality care in both low and high-risk pregnancy cases.
  • Perform required OB ultrasounds and interpret fetal heart rate data.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are required
  • Proficiency in laser use and a variety of obstetrics procedures, including amniocentesis

Working Hours

  • Varied shifts according to facility needs

Skills

  • Skilled in low and high-risk pregnancy management
  • Competent in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds
  • Ability to manage and conduct both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Experience with office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD, cystoscopy, and LEEP
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
