Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour on-call obstetric coverage
- Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, and VBACs
- Conduct and interpret OB ultrasounds
- Perform minor and surgical gynecological procedures
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics
- CA medical license
- Certified in BLS and NRP
- Minimum two years of hospital clinical activity within the specialty
- Ability to provide relevant case logs and explain any gaps in employment greater than three months
Working Hours
- First two weeks of each month
- 24-hour call coverage from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Skills
- Expertise in low and high-risk pregnancy management
- Proficient in FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- Capable of performing OB ultrasounds and interpreting results
- Skilled in routine deliveries and decision-making for C-sections
- Experience in complicated deliveries and minor gynecological procedures
