OB Hospitalist Locums Physician in California - 24 Hour Shifts
OB only hospitalist assignment in California wine country with up to 15 shifts per month and no call outside of your shift.
Highlights
- Pick up to 15 shifts per month; you choose your dates
- No call responsibilities beyond your 24 hour shift
- Level II NICU with anesthesia and CNM support
- Credentialing in 30 days with temp privileges available
Practice Setting
- Inpatient OB only coverage; no clinic work
- Based in Lodi, California
- Support from OB nurses, CNMs, and backup staff
- Cerner EMR used hospital-wide
Schedule
- 24 hour in-house call shifts
- Flexible block scheduling available
- Minimum of 7 shifts per month preferred
Cases and Procedures
- Full scope OB including deliveries and C-sections
- No VBACs, trauma, or high risk maternal cases
- 2 to 3 births per day on service
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active California license
- BLS and DEA required
Travel Accommodations
- All travel covered: airfare, rental car, lodging, and mileage
