CoxHealth is seeking a BE/BC OB/GYN physician for an inpatient Laborist opportunity.

The OB Laborist will focus on the inpatient care of the pregnant women, managing the labor process and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis as well as oversight of the obstetrical emergency department. May also perform minor GYN procedures.

Position highlights:

• 100% inpatient position
• 7 on, 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts
• No call required when not on shift
• Cover 1 hospital, Cox Medical Center South, a 706-bed facility with a Level IV Maternity Center & Level III NICU
• Highly collaborative inpatient team includes OB/GYNs and Family Medicine physicians
• Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists available for consult
• Well-trained support staff
