· Coverage needed: 3/13 – 3/17

· Summary of coverage expectations:

Hospital

Patients present to the ER every 3 days on average for lower acuity gyn or obstetrical problems.

Historically, 1-2 patients present for higher acuity emergencies such as delivery or antepartum problem.

Clinic

Calls are of gyn or obstetrical nature such as pain, bleeding, changes in fetal movement, and other medical questions. Physician on call is contacted for advice.

Calls with medical, appointment, or insurance related questions are handled by the answering service.
