The University of Illinois System provides generous paid leave, enrollment in the State University Retirement System pension, and malpractice coverage.

Practice locations include two state-of-the-art hospitals that serve a diverse urban and rural patient base population of about 2 million people across Illinois; two outpatient clinics provide care to the medically underserved.
