ProHEALTH is looking for a full time Physician Assistant to join our team at Suffolk OBGYN!

Work Locations: Suffolk Obstetrics & Gynecology (offices: Port Jefferson, Patchogue, Smithtown, and Wading River)

About Us:

We specialize in obstetrics and gynecology, which includes the examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of women's health problems


In addition to standard specialty care in obstetrics and gynecology, we offer evaluation and management of infertility, gynecologic urology, menopausal management, endoscopic and laser surgery, medically or surgically complicated obstetrics and ultrasonography. Sonography services are accredited by AUIM the Nation's foremost credentialing agency.

Position Summary:

The Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Physician Assistant who will work with physicians and licensed nurses to provide medical care in accordance with accepted practice standards and protocols in the Division of OBGYN, the PA will deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice, education of patients, patients’ families, practice staff and others. The PA will also provide care at follow-up visits at the patient office, and will be very involved in the management and education of the patients. The PA will respond to incoming phone messages from patients and make call backs to patients, reporting responses to attending physicians, as well as instruct and counsel patients on health care, health maintenance, medical problems, treatment plans, nutrition, or other related issues as appropriate.

No on-call responsibilities!


Education and Experience Requirements:

Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
Current registration to practice as a Licensed Physician Assistant in New York State
Proficient in Electronic Medical Records application
Must have excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years post-training along with women's health experience is strongly preferred!
