Position: Board-Certified / Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician
Location: Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton – Oceanside, CA
Assignment Dates: December 2026 – September 2027
Schedule: Full-time (Clinic + Shared Call Rotation)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate OB/GYN Physician to provide comprehensive temporary medical coverage for active-duty service members and their families at Camp Pendleton. This is an exceptional opportunity to support military families in a modern, collaborative facility while enjoying the beautiful coastal community of Oceanside, California.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, family-centered inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care.
- Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, low-risk deliveries, and gynecological surgical procedures.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation schedule (including weeknight and weekend coverage).
- Collaborate with an integrated healthcare team consisting of certified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners, and active-duty medical staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensure: Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license (Government facility rule applies; CA license is not explicitly required).
- Certifications: Active BLS, NRP, and DEA registration.
- Clearance: Must be able to pass a federal background check for military base access.
