Locums | OB/GYN | Call Only | KY/IMLC | Hazard, KY Why This Role

  • Call-only coverage with no clinic
  • Two defined coverage blocks
  • Low daily patient volume
  • Full OB + GYN scope
  • 30-day credentialing timeframe
Assignment Details Coverage: November 24-30, 2026 Coverage: December 22-28, 2026 Orientation: November 24 + December 22 Coverage ends at 7am on November 30 + December 28 Call: Beeper Call response: 30 minutes Setting: Inpatient Volume: ~2 patients/shift Admissions: ~2 Support: 2 RNs EMR: MediTech Credentialing: ~30 days; no temporary privileges Clinical Details Routine vaginal + C-section deliveries Complicated deliveries including breech + multiples Abruptions + VBAC Fetal heart rate interpretation OB ultrasound including Level I + Level II Repair of 3rd + 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology procedures Open + laparoscopic surgical gynecology Major operative GYN procedures Requirements Board Certified OB/GYN Active KY license or IMLC ABLS, ACLS, BLS + PALS Routine + complicated delivery experience OB ultrasound experience Surgical gynecology experience Availability for requested coverage blocks Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice provided Travel reimbursed
