Locums | OB/GYN | Clinic + Backup Call | ME License or IMLC | Presque Isle, ME Why This Role

  • January-March 2027 assignment
  • Clinic + 2nd call/backup coverage
  • Low delivery volume
  • Midwife + clinical support
  • ME license or IMLC accepted
Assignment Details Dates: January 1-March 31, 2027 Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours + call Call: 2nd call/backup, 1:2 Call response: 20 minutes Setting: Outpatient with hospital privileges/admissions Volume: ~13-18 patients/shift Admissions: ~2 Approximately 230 deliveries/year Support: 2 RNs, 4 MAs, 3 midwives + 4 office staff APP supervision required EMR: Cerner Credentialing: ~60-90 days; no temporary privileges Clinical Details Low- and high-risk pregnancy management Vaginal and C-section deliveries Breech, multiple births and abruptions Fetal heart rate interpretation Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations Laparoscopic and major operative GYN procedures OB ultrasound and VBAC experience preferred Requirements Board certified or board eligible Active ME license or IMLC BLS + PALS required Additional certification required by facility Hospital privileges required Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice provided Travel reimbursed
