Locums | OB/GYN | Hood River, OR (OR license required) Why This Role

Assignment Details Start/end: January 2027; ongoing Schedule: Clinic Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri, 8am-5pm Coverage type: Clinic + beeper call Call: ~8 shifts/month — 5 weeknight shifts + 1 weekend of 24-hour call Call hours: Weeknights 5pm-7am; weekend call 7am-7am Schedule options: Full-time preferred; 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off considered Volume: ~15 patients/shift; typically 0-2 deliveries during a 24-hour call Setting: Inpatient + outpatient OB/GYN Support: 2 RNs + 4 MAs EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~90 days; no temporary privileges Clinical Details Required scope: Low-risk pregnancy, fetal heart rate interpretation and OB ultrasound Required scope: Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps and C-section decision-making Required scope: C-sections and complicated deliveries including breech, multiples and abruptions Required scope: Repair of 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations Required scope: Office/minor gynecology procedures OB and GYN privileges required Minor GYN/OR surgery and emergency ectopic coverage may be needed Preferred: High-risk pregnancy and surgical gynecology ~208 deliveries annually Requirements Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years in OB/GYN License: Active OR license required BLS and NRP Active DEA Recent OB and GYN case volume sufficient for privileges Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
