Job Description & Requirements

AMN Healthcare has been retained by Springhill Medical Centr to recruit an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to its Mobile, Alabama location to join Dr. Jessica Jones. The need for an additional OBGYN is due to the volume of patients in the area that are seeking care and the overall growth of the program.

Springhill

• The only private family-owned Hospital in the country, with over 270 beds and multiple advanced specialties including cardiac services, primary care, sugary, orthopedics, outpatient rehab, hyberbaric medicine and birth suites.
• Spinghill was named “Best Overall Hospital” in 2024 and 2025, also was rated “The Best Place to Have a Baby” 2020-2025.
• There are 2O beds on the Labor and Delivery floor, including 2 operating rooms. The clinic has 6 exams rooms aa Ultrasound room and 2 Ultrasound techs. The clinic is attached to the hospital. Springhill is a Level 2 nursery.
• Currently they see about 1200 deliveries a year.

· One will join as a hospital employee.

Job Description and Schedule:

· For an incoming OBGYN you will have a four-day work week; 3 clinic days and 1 set OR day

· One will have the choice of 20 or 30 mins for new patients and 10 or 15 minutes for follow-ups.

· Currently Dr. Jones is seeing around 30-40pts per day in the clinic and 20 surgery cases a month.

· In the clinic you will be supported by an LPN/RN and one MA for a total of 2 support staff to every 1 MD ratio.

· The hospital is supported by 4 other OBGYN’s in the community.

· Access to Robotics.

· There is a neonatal physician within the community.

Financial Package and Benefits:

The incoming physician will join Springhill with a guaranteed base salary and benefit package. Sign on an relocation offered.

Based on our discussions, the financial package that will be discussed with candidates will be as follows:

· Base Salary of $350-400,000

• Threshold Bonus
• Relocation
