Med Ninjas is seeking a OB/GYN Physician for short term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility located in Paducah, Kentucky.
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from November 25, 2026 to November 29, 2026.
This assignment includes inpatient hospital coverage, labor and delivery coverage, routine and complicated deliveries, C-section decision-making, and 7a-7a beeper call including GYN call coverage.
Locum Tenens OB/GYN Paducah, KY
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM; 24-hour call
Start Date: November 25, 2026
End Date: November 29, 2026
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based; Labor and Delivery
Responsibilities: EMTALA call coverage, labor and delivery coverage, routine and complicated deliveries, GYN call coverage
Required Procedures: Vaginal delivery, low forceps, C-section decision-making, complicated C-section, breech and multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Midwives provide call coverage and deliver their own patients; onsite labs and ultrasound
On-Call/Weekends: Yes; 7a-7a in-house and beeper/phone call; weekend coverage required
Required Procedures and Skills
- Routine vaginal delivery and low forceps
- C-section decision-making
- Complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, multiple births and abruptions
- VBACs
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- GYN call coverage
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active KY license or active IMLC
- BLS required
- DEA required
- Must be available for coverage November 25–29, no exceptions
- Temporary privileges are available; estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days and can be expedited by need
