Locums | OB/GYN | Washington, MO (MO license required) Why This Role

  • Ongoing need through March 2027
Assignment Details Start/end: As soon as credentialed; ongoing through March 31, 2027 Schedule: Every 5th weekend; Friday 5pm-Monday 5am Call: Beeper call; 30-minute response Coverage type: Call only Volume: ~750 deliveries/year; 0-5 phone consults, 0-3 patients seen and 0-2 admissions per shift Setting: Inpatient OB/GYN; 16 beds including 8 LDRP + 8 couplet/GYN; Level III trauma center Support: 1:1 RN staffing during labor, 2:1 postpartum and 4:1 women's health EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~90 days; temporary privileges available Clinical Details Required scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy, fetal heart rate interpretation and OB ultrasound Required scope: Amniocentesis, vaginal delivery, low forceps and C-section decision-making Required scope: C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, abruptions and VBACs Required scope: Repair of 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations Required scope: Office/minor gynecology including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery and LEEP Required scope: Open and laparoscopic surgical gynecology including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy and extensive lysis of adhesions Requirements Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN Active MO license required ACLS, BLS and PALS Active DEA Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
