Locums | OB/GYN | La Porte, IN (any state license accepted) Why This Role

  • Call only, light census (10 patients/shift)
  • Fast 30-day credentialing, temp privileges available
  • Board certified
  • Ongoing need, multiple providers accepted — locums-to-perm potential
Assignment Details Start/end: Near-term block November 26 (7am) through November 30 (7am); additional 2027 dates coming; ongoing Schedule: Call only; beeper call, 30-min response, 2% callback Coverage type: Call only, inpatient Volume: ~10 patients/shift; 1-2 admissions; ~100 deliveries/year; 85 beds Setting: Stroke certified, admissions required Support: Not specified EMR: Cerner Credentialing: ~30 days (an active IN license is required to qualify for temp privileges on near-term dates) Clinical Details Required scope: Low-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation), routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, surgical gynecology (open, operative/major), laser certification Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements Board certified in OB/GYN License: any state accepted (IN obtained during credentialing) ACLS, BLS, PALS Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
