### Locums | OB/GYN | Washington, MO (Active MO License Required) ### Why This Role

Assignment Details Facility: Mercy Hospital Washington Location: Washington, Missouri Start Date: As soon as credentialed Duration: Ongoing; coverage is currently authorized through March 31, 2027 Specific Weekend Dates: Not provided Schedule: Every fifth weekend, Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 5:00 AM Coverage Type: Beeper call only Response Time: 30 minutes Setting: Inpatient Call Volume: Approximately 0–5 phone consultations and 0–3 patients seen Admissions: Approximately 0–2 Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Temporary Privileges: Available EMR: Epic ### Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Active Missouri medical license Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Clean NPDB and malpractice history Experience managing low- and high-risk pregnancies Fetal heart-rate interpretation OB ultrasound performance and interpretation, including Level I and Level II Amniocentesis Routine and complicated deliveries Vaginal delivery, low-forceps delivery, and cesarean section Breech delivery, multiple births, abruptions, and VBAC Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations Minor and surgical gynecology, including open and laparoscopic procedures ### Clinical Details Approximately five patients per shift Approximately 750 deliveries annually 16 departmental beds: - 8 LDRP beds - 8 couplet/GYN beds Nursing ratios: - 1:1 during labor - 2:1 postpartum - 4:1 women’s health Office support includes one NP and 16 combined MAs, RNs, and patient service representatives No APP or resident supervision required
