• Required Certifications: BLS
• License Requirement: Active Washington state medical license required
• DEA: Required

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology or OB/GYN physician practice
• Experience with low-risk and high-risk pregnancy care
• Proficiency in fetal heart rate interpretation, including NST, CST, and FSE
• Ability to perform and interpret Level I / screening OB ultrasounds
• Comfort with routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
• Ability to make clinical decisions regarding cesarean delivery
• Experience managing complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Skill in repairing 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Current CV required for submission
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients in an inpatient hospital setting
• Manage labor, delivery, and OB/GYN inpatient cases across a range of acuity levels
• Support routine and complicated deliveries with confidence and clinical expertise
• Assess and interpret fetal monitoring, fetal heart rate tracings, and obstetric ultrasound findings
• Participate in decision-making for operative delivery when clinically indicated
• Perform emergency and urgent OB procedures as needed, including C-sections and VBAC management
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Deliver timely, compassionate care in a busy inpatient OB/GYN environment
