Join an esteemed healthcare facility in Owosso, Michigan, where you will play a vital role as an OB/GYN Locum Physician. This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center dedicated to providing high-quality care and patient-centered services. You will be responsible for inpatient call coverage during scheduled gaps, primarily supporting labor and delivery services.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery coverage and emergency department OB/GYN call support.
• Perform phone triage for patients as required.
• Respond to emergency department consultations related to OB/GYN cases.
• Manage inpatient obstetrical care during call shifts.
• Perform Dilation and Curettage (D&C) procedures when clinically indicated.
• Offer 24-hour call coverage, including both in-house and beeper/phone responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• BLS and DEA Certification - REQUIRED AT OFFER
• Fellowship training in a relevant specialty - REQUIRED
• Proven experience in labor and delivery and phone triage - REQUIRED
• Ability to perform D&C procedures - REQUIRED
• Clean background and license history - PREFERRED
• Candidates requiring licensure will not be accepted.

License and Certification Requirements

• Active Michigan Medical License at the time of submission - REQUIRED
