Job description
We are seeking a full-time ObGyn Hospitalist Physician to join our team. This position involves providing care and oversight for patients presenting to Labor & Delivery or the Emergency Department, including clinic patients and those without an assigned or retained private physician.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as attending of record for laboring patients admitted from the clinic and when requested by community physicians.
- Provide consultation and inpatient coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients across all hospital services.
- Perform emergent gynecologic surgeries and act as backup support for midwives.
- Support medical staff utilization management, clinical effectiveness initiatives, and enhance quality and safety of inpatient care.
Schedule Options
- 14 twelve-hour shifts per month (mix of days and nights, 7A–7P / 7P–7A, no call).
- 7 twenty-four-hour shifts per month.
Requirements
