- Coverage Type: Primarily call coverage, with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities as scheduled.
- Assignment Dates: August 3, 2026 – January 4, 2027, with open dates currently available beginning in November.
- Current Open Dates: Key blocks include Nov. 24–30, Dec. 23, and Dec. 28–31, 2026; additional dates may be available.
- Call Structure: Beeper call, approximately 93:1 call ratio, with an expected 2–3 patients seen and 2–3 phone consults per 24 hours; approximately 7% call-back rate.
- OB Volume: Approximately 525 deliveries annually, making this a good opportunity for a physician comfortable with a broad range of OB cases.
- Required Clinical Skills: Routine and complicated deliveries, vaginal delivery, C-sections, breech/multiple births, VBACs, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
- GYN Skills: Candidates should be comfortable with office/minor GYN procedures as well as major/operative gynecology, including ectopic pregnancy, ovarian surgery, cystectomy, and extensive lysis of adhesions.
- Credentials Required: Board Certified in OB/GYN, AZ license or IMLC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges are available.
- Recruiter Selling Points: 30-minute call response requirement, no resident/AP supervision, 2 RNs + 2 MAs + 3 office staff, vendor-provided insurance, and holiday coverage includes 1.5x holiday rate where specified.
