OB/GYN Locums – 24-Hour Call + Paid Orientation | Alpena, MI
Have a few open dates on your calendar? Put them to work in Northern Michigan.
We’re seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN for select 24-hour call coverage in Alpena, MI this fall and winter. With paid orientation, travel support, optional clinic hours, and IMLC consideration, this is a great opportunity to pick up targeted locums coverage without a long-term commitment.
Assignment Highlights- Location: Alpena, MI
- Coverage: 24-Hour Call
- Clinic: Optional
- Paid Orientation: $500 for ≤4 hours | $1,000 for >4 hours
- Travel: Covered separately
- EMR: Epic / Dragon
- Credentialing: Typically ~30 days
- License: Active MI preferred | IMLC considered
- Support: 3 nurses per shift + midwife call support
October: 10/15–10/17 & 10/20–10/21
December: 12/4–12/8, 12/10–12/11, 12/14–12/15, 12/21–12/23 & 12/24–12/30
Availability must align with current open dates.
Clinical ScopeSuction D&C • Laparoscopy • NST Reads • C-Sections • Circumcisions • Tubal Ligations
What You’ll Need- BC or BE within 5 years
- ACLS, BLS & PALS
- Active MI license preferred or IMLC
- Clean credentialing background
- 3 recent professional references
- 12-month case logs: 50 deliveries + 25 GYN procedures
- ACGME-approved residency/fellowship
