- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Shifts: 24-hour in-house call, 7a-7a; option for 12-hour shifts
- Setting: OB Hospitalist covering predominantly high-risk obstetrics; Level II nursery; ~11-12 deliveries/day
- Scope: Primary coverage of MFM service patients; urgent OB needs and emergencies; assist with C-sections and other obstetrical procedures
- Team model: 24/7 access to MFM (in-house days, on-call nights); another Allina OBGYN always in-house for clinic service; collaborative support
- Service mix: OB only (mostly high risk); no GYN on OBH shifts
- Support staff: CNM coverage at UNTD and modified coverage at ANW as needed; no residents
- Systems: Epic (Excellian) for documentation; Obix for electronic fetal monitoring
- Requirements: Board-certified OB/GYN, BLS certification
