OB/GYN Physician – Hobbs, NM | Inpatient & Outpatient Coverage

- Shift: Inpatient & Outpatient, Call (24-hour beeper)
- Schedule: M-F + Weekend Call, Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Friday afternoons off)
- Hours/Week: Provider minimum 10–20 shifts/month, flexible hours
- Employment Type: Locums, Contract
- Licensing/Certifications: Active NM License, DEA, BLS, Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Experience: Prior independent practice experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (all-inclusive rate per day)

What You’ll Do
- Provide OB/GYN care both inpatient and outpatient at a low volume site
- Deliver approximately 40 deliveries per month, with autonomy to manage cases independently
- Perform routine and complex OB/GYN exams, including prenatal care and deliveries
- Manage high-acuity cases and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams when necessary
- Ensure documentation and compliance with facility protocols and standards
- Participate in call coverage during scheduled hours and on weekends
What You Need
- Active New Mexico Medical License in OB/GYN
- DEA license
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- BLS certification
- Proven ability to work independently with confidence and professionalism
- Experience with obstetrics in a hospital or clinical setting
About the Assignment
This assignment is with a leading facility in Hobbs, NM, offering inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services. Providers will cover scheduled clinic hours and be on 24-hour call to ensure continuity of care for patients.
