Locums | OB/GYN | Iron Mountain, MI (any state license accepted) Why This Role

  • Any state license accepted (MI obtained during credentialing)
  • Defined 7-10 day blocks
  • Ongoing need — locums-to-perm potential
  • Board eligible welcome
  • Low-volume clinic while on call
Assignment Details Start/end: 8/28-9/3 or 9/14-9/20; 12/7-12/13; 12/21-12/27; ongoing Schedule: 6pm-6pm shifts; 7-10 day assignments; limited clinic patients (prenatal visits) while covering weekday call; beeper call, 15-min response Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call, inpatient and outpatient Volume: ~12 clinic/1-2 hospital patients per shift; 319 deliveries in 2025; 10 beds Setting: Level 4 trauma, admissions required Support: 1 MA, 2 PA/NPs, 1 office staff; will supervise APPs EMR: Cerner Credentialing: ~60 days Clinical Details Required scope: Low-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major) Preferred scope: OB ultrasounds (Level I and II), amniocentesis Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN License: any state accepted BLS Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
