⭐ On-site Lab & Ultrasound
⭐ Cerner EMR (transitioning to Epic in September with paid virtual training)

Clinical Responsibilities

✔ Manage OB & GYN hospital coverage
✔ Triage and deliver Genesis OB patients (65–80 deliveries/month)
✔ Cover OB/GYN ER calls
✔ Round on hospitalized OB patients
✔ Care for unassigned ("No Doc") patients
✔ Circumcisions (preferred, not mandatory)

Required Skills & Procedures

✅ Low & High-Risk Obstetrics
✅ Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring (NST/CST/FSE)
✅ Level I OB Ultrasounds
✅ Amniocentesis
✅ Vaginal & Cesarean Deliveries
✅ Breech, VBAC, Multiple Births & Obstetric Emergencies
✅ Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
✅ Open & Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgery
✅ Major GYN Procedures including Ectopic Pregnancy, Oophorectomy & Cystectomy

Candidate Requirements

✅ Board Certified OB/GYN (FM-OB not accepted)
✅ Active Iowa License or Active IMLC (LOQ required)
✅ Fetal Monitoring Certification
✅ Must be available for Monday–Friday coverage
✅ 2 Professional References (one supervisor-level)
✅ Clean Malpractice & Background History
✅ Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days)
