Specialty: Physician – Hospitalist (OB)
Location: Davenport, IA
Compensation: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 24-hour in-house call (8:00 AM–8:00 AM)

Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital / Labor & Delivery
Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour in-house OB hospitalist coverage, manage labor and delivery, respond to OB/GYN ER consults, round on hospitalized patients, perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, manage high-risk obstetric cases, and provide gynecologic surgical care. Circumcisions are optional.
Required Procedures: Vaginal and Cesarean Deliveries, High- and Low-Risk Obstetric Management, Fetal Heart Rate Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), Level I OB Ultrasounds, Amniocentesis, VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations, Open and Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgery, Ectopic Pregnancy Management, Ovarian Surgery, Cystectomy, and other major gynecologic procedures.
EMR System: Epic ; virtual Epic training required)
Support Staff: Labor & Delivery team, Postpartum staff, OR team, ER physicians, 1–2 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), and resident physician support during most call shifts.
Coverage Needed: Weekday coverage (Monday–Friday) required, with weekend coverage welcomed.
Call Requirements: 24-hour in-house call coverage. Providers cannot work two consecutive weekday 24-hour shifts. Consecutive weekend shifts (Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun, or Sun/Mon) are permitted.
Active Iowa Medical License or Active IMLC Letter of Qualification (Required)
Fetal Monitoring Experience (Required)
Ability to provide weekday coverage (Monday–Friday) (Required)
