Locums | OB/GYN | Brattleboro, VT (any state license accepted or IMLC) Why This Role

Assignment Details Start/end: Ongoing, varies Schedule: 24-hour call (8a-8a) or 12-hour call (8a-8p or 8p-8a); call schedule and ratio vary; may split call shifts with other OB/GYNs (never on call at the same time) Coverage type: Call only, inpatient Volume: 14-16 clinic patients/day; 3-5 GYN surgeries/week; 25% C-section rate; ~1 nursery admission/day; 7 beds Setting: Non-trauma community hospital; Level I nursery; onsite lab and ultrasound (hospital ultrasound M-F 8a-4p) Support: 1 full-time MD, 1 GYN MD (no call), 1 PRN MD, 4 CNMs; 1 MA per clinician plus triage nurse in clinic; birth center RNs vary by census EMR: Cerner Community Works Credentialing: ~90 days Clinical Details Required scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy (50/50), FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I/screening, performance and interpretation), routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major) 60% GYN practice Requirements Board certified in OB/GYN Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency (U.S. or Canada) License: any state accepted or IMLC (must include VT) BLS, NRP Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
