2xLocum Physician coverage needed in Connecticut for 13 weeks assignment
Job Responsibilities
Coverage of the Obstetric service during evenings, nights, and weekends
Supervision and teaching of in-house OB/GYN residents
Management of laboring patients, obstetrical triage, postpartum patients, and gynecologic emergencies
Performance of obstetrical and gynecologic procedures as clinically indicated
Participation in emergency cesarean deliveries and urgent gynecologic surgical care
Collaboration with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and subspecialty consultants
Qualifications
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by ABOG
Eligible for or currently holding a Connecticut Medical License
Experience supervising residents and managing high-acuity obstetrical patients preferred
Strong communication and team-based care skills required
