OBGYN Faculty opening in Arlington, TX Fort Worth 15m, Dallas 21m Seeking an OBGYN Physician to serve as Faculty for their OB/GYN residency program. This is the perfect opportunity for a physician in academics looking to join an organization with room for professional advancement, or for a physician in private practice who wants to transition to an educational setting with support provided.

  • Must be board certified and eligible for licensure in Texas
  • Possesses a desire to provide education to the next generation of physicians
  • Support the clinical practice of residents through continuity clinic, labor & delivery and the operating room
  • Lecture, presentation, and research components are a requirement
  • Provide back-up call on a rotating schedule to OBGYN hospitalists for GME patients on nights, weekends, and holidays; no in-house call required, however facilities are available to stay after hours for deliveries if desired
  • Easy access to women's health subspecialists, including but not limited to urogynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, and gynecological oncology

Hospital 433-bed, acute care hospital in South Arlington Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) beds Level III Maternal Designation 33 medical/surgical rooms, including 14 antepartum rooms 23 labor and delivery rooms 3 C-section operating rooms Arlington, TX Arlington is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, just 10 minutes from DFW International Airport, and boasts year-round events, activities and destinations, such as Six Flags Over Texas, a large amusement park, and the city is home to the Texas Ranger of Major League Baseball and the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.
