Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician for a flexible locum tenens assignment in Lewisburg, PA. This role offers a balanced outpatient-focused schedule with inpatient support and minimal call requirements.

Schedule & Coverage

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM shifts
• Coverage needed ~2 weeks per month
• Typically structured as 2–3 day blocks
• Most commonly Monday–Wednesday coverage
• PRN call only (low frequency, if needed)
• Start Date: 06/01/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (ongoing potential)

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based OB/GYN practice
• Outpatient clinic with minor procedures
• Patient population: ages 14–90
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in an outpatient setting
• Manage 20–25 patients per day
• Perform minor procedures including:
  • Endometrial biopsy (EMB)
  • Colposcopy (Colpo)
  • Pessary maintenance
  • Pap smears
• Coordinate referrals for complex colposcopy or advanced cases
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical support staff
• Deliver patient education and preventive women’s health care

Support Staff

• Clinic nurses (1–2 per provider)
• Front office and registration staff
• Clinical supervisor and practice manager support
• Established, well-structured clinic workflow

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• BLS certification required
• DEA required (PA)
• Vaccination compliance required (or approved exemption)
• Experience in outpatient OB/GYN preferred
