Locums | OB/GYN | Granbury, TX (TX license) Why This Role

  • Light census (2-4 patients/shift)
  • Temp privileges available
Assignment Details Start/end: Coverage begins October, ongoing; sporadic weekends throughout the year, subject to availability of other local OB/GYNs Schedule: ~9-10 call days/month; call runs Friday noon through Monday 7am; beeper call, 30-min response, 1:3 ratio, 80% callback Coverage type: Call only, inpatient Volume: 2-4 patients/shift; 5-7 phone consults; 2-4 admissions; ~630 deliveries/year; 8 beds Setting: Level 4 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required Support: 3-4 RNs EMR: Athena/Medhost Credentialing: 30-45 days Clinical Details Required scope: Low-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), Level I OB ultrasound, amniocentesis, routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, surgical gynecology (laparoscopic, operative/major) Preferred scope: High-risk pregnancy, OB ultrasound performance and interpretation, open surgical gynecology Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements Board certified in OB/GYN License: TX required BLS Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
