Step into a high-demand locum tenens OB/GYN opportunity in Cambridge, MA, focused on Labor & Delivery coverage in a busy inpatient setting. This travel assignment offers a structured schedule, strong team support, and exposure to a high-volume OB service—ideal for physicians seeking clinical variety and work-life balance.
Work alongside experienced PAs and midwives in a collaborative environment managing deliveries, postpartum care, and emergent GYN cases. This locum opportunity provides consistent shifts, diverse case exposure, and the chance to thrive in a well-supported OB team.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage deliveries, postpartum care, and emergent GYN cases
• Perform ED consults and support surgical cases as needed
• Collaborate with PAs, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document care using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• Flu vaccination required
Working Hours
• Weekend shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Two weekday and two weekend shifts per week
• Assignment length: 4–6 months
Skills
• Ability to manage high-volume delivery settings
• Surgical and emergency OB/GYN skills
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
