###Locums | OB/GYN | Call Only | McMinnville, OR ###Why This Role * Inpatient coverage with low patient-to-provider ratio (1-2 patients per shift) * Support during department restructuring with consistent call schedule * Opportunity to manage a full spectrum of obstetrics and surgical gynecology cases ###Assignment Details * Start Date: ASAP * End Date: Ongoing * Coverage Type: Call Only * Schedule: Call rotation 1:3 with beeper, 20-minute response time; phone consults 3-4 per shift; admissions 1-2 per shift * Patients per Day: 1-2 * Call Details: Both OB and Gynecology call; assigned patients rounding; temporary hospital privileges available * EMR: MediTech / Athena ###Requirements * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology * Active OR license * Clean history * Fellowship: 1 year * Other certifications as required by facility ###Clinical Details * Scope: Inpatient obstetrics and surgical gynecology coverage, low and high-risk deliveries, operative procedures * Typical Procedures: * Routine vaginal deliveries * Decision-making for C-section * Complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs (preferred) * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations (preferred) * Surgical gynecology: open and operative procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's * Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation) ###Compensation * Rates: Facility is accepting bids * Malpractice: Provided * Travel: Reimbursed
