###Locums | OB/GYN | Call Only | Wilson, NC ###Why This Role * Beeper call coverage with strong unit and provider support * Opportunity to work with a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic cases including circumcisions * Inpatient setting with dedicated support staff ###Assignment Details * Start Date: ASAP * End Date: Ongoing * Coverage Type: Call Only * Schedule: Beeper call, response time 15 minutes, call ratio 1:4 * Patients per Day: 3-5 * Call Details: Admissions 4 per shift, phone consults 5, 25% call-backs * EMR: MediTech ###Requirements * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology * Active NC license * ACLS and PALS * Clean history ###Clinical Details * Scope: Inpatient obstetrics and gynecology including routine and complicated deliveries, obstetric ultrasounds, minor and major gynecologic surgery * Typical Procedures: * Vaginal deliveries, low forceps (preferred), cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions * Low and high-risk pregnancy management * FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) * OB ultrasounds Level I/II * Amniocentesis * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic minor (tubal ligation, LOA), operative major (preferred) * Laser procedures * Circumcisions ###Compensation * Rates: Facility is accepting bids * Malpractice: Provided * Travel: Reimbursed
